The Superintendent shall report the number and nature of the cases admitted during the previous twenty-four hours and with reference to cases of special interest shall bring the particulars of such cases to the knowledge of the Colonial Surgeon and to afford him the opportunity of inspecting the same. All cases of surgical operations performed or proposed to be performed shall be brought to the knowledge of the Colonial Surgeon at the earliest convenient time.

A conciliate

In consultation cases the Superintendent shall not call in extraneous medical assistance unknown to the Colonial Surgeon who is the only proper consulting officer of this Hospital and who shall therefore in every instance be communicated with first.

The Superintendent shall report daily to the Colonial Surgeon on the occasion of his morning visit to the Hospital any incident of interest or importance connected with the sick or the attendants or the general administration of the Hospital that may have transpired during the previous twenty-four hours so that the Colonial Surgeon may be fully cognisant of all that has passed from day to day and thus be able to report to Government without delay.
